These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of char-dham-yatra.com and all tour services provided by CareMyTrip.com Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By making an enquiry or booking, you (“Customer”, “you”) accept these Terms.
Last updated: August 2026
1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when we issue a written confirmation (by email or WhatsApp) and the required advance payment has been received. An enquiry, quotation or verbal discussion does not constitute a confirmed booking.
You are responsible for checking that all details on your confirmation — names, dates, package type, number of travellers and pick-up point — are correct, and for informing us immediately of any error.
2. Payment Terms
- An advance is payable at the time of booking to secure your dates.
- The balance is payable before departure, as stated on your confirmation.
- Bookings made close to the departure date may require full payment upfront.
- We reserve the right to treat a booking as cancelled if payment is not received by the due date.
3. Prices, Inclusions & Exclusions
Prices shown are per person and are indicative until confirmed in writing. They may vary with group size, travel dates, hotel category and vehicle type.
Unless expressly stated in your itinerary, prices do not include:
- Pony, palanquin (doli) and porter charges at Yamunotri and Kedarnath
- Helicopter tickets, unless the package is a helicopter package
- Airfare, train fare and travel to the starting point
- Personal expenses, tips, laundry, telephone and beverages
- Entry fees, camera charges and additional sightseeing not in the itinerary
- Costs arising from road closures, landslides, weather delays or extended stays
- Anything not specifically listed as included
Prices may change before confirmation due to fuel costs, government levies, taxes or supplier revisions.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it before booking.
5. Yatra Registration & Documents
Biometric registration is mandatory under Uttarakhand Government rules for darshan at all four dhams. We complete this on behalf of confirmed customers, but you must provide accurate identity details and valid government photo ID for every traveller.
You are responsible for carrying valid ID throughout the journey. We are not liable for denied darshan, delays or losses arising from incorrect, incomplete or missing documents.
6. Health, Fitness & Altitude
The Char Dham circuit reaches altitudes above 3,500 metres and involves long mountain road journeys, and in places trekking or pony rides. By booking, you confirm that each traveller is medically fit for such travel.
- You must inform us in advance of any medical condition, pregnancy, mobility limitation or age-related concern that may affect travel.
- We may recommend, but cannot compel, a medical check-up before departure.
- We may decline or curtail participation where we reasonably believe travel poses a risk to a traveller’s safety.
- Altitude sickness, weather exposure and pre-existing conditions remain the traveller’s own risk.
7. Itinerary Changes
Himalayan travel is subject to conditions outside anyone’s control. Routes, hotels, halts and sequence of dhams may change due to weather, landslides, road closures, traffic restrictions, temple timings, government orders or safety considerations.
We will always try to provide an equivalent alternative. Where a change results in unavoidable additional cost — extra nights, longer routes, alternative transport — that cost is payable by the customer.
8. Traveller Conduct
- Follow the instructions of our drivers, guides and representatives, particularly on safety matters.
- Respect temple customs, local rules and fellow travellers.
- Consumption of alcohol or prohibited substances during the yatra is not permitted.
- We may end a traveller’s participation, without refund, where conduct endangers others or seriously disrupts the group.
9. Liability
We act as a tour operator arranging transport, accommodation and related services. Hotels, transport operators, helicopter companies and other suppliers are independent providers.
We are not liable for loss, injury, delay or damage arising from:
- Acts or omissions of independent suppliers
- Road, weather or mountain conditions
- Loss or theft of personal belongings
- Any event listed under Force Majeure below
Where we are found liable, our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the affected service.
10. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical treatment, high altitude, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and personal belongings. Insurance is not included in our packages unless expressly stated.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, landslides, floods, earthquakes, extreme weather, pandemics, epidemics, political unrest, strikes, terrorism, or government restrictions and orders.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies.
